Our Men's Saturday first team went top of the league this afternoon with an excellent 2-0 victory over Sheffield City on a cold afternoon at Gosforth Fields.
Goals from Chaz Bradwell and George Talbot saw us to victory and leapfrogging City in the process. Grant Hemsley was outstanding at the back and was deservedly awarded the MOM.
We head the table on goal difference going into the festive period with a couple of games in hand.
