Our first team have backed up their fine form on the pitch by winning the County Senior 'sporting award'. This is a great accolade. Coach Ben had this to say on winning this award..........
"A bit of pre Christmas news from the 1st team. We've just won the County Senior sporting award for the latest 1/4. It's an award based on a rating from our opposition, on match day behaviour of the staff, players and club. I'm proud of everyone for this award. The values and attitude of our players and club on match day has a direct correlation on results.
Rob and I have worked hard on instilling strong, sporting and personal beliefs in our lads, which are finally converting into points. You can see the change in the lads and in me and Rob on the side. We respect our opponents and the referees and concentrate only on what we can affect. We're receiving plaudits from opposition past and present and it's a very positive attribute for the club as a whole. Long may it continue. Have a great Christmas".
