First game of the new year for our Under 10 Girls. Away at Eckington on a chilly but perfect morning. AFC started well and but for a cross shot that ended in the net it remained 1-0 to the home side in the first 15 minutes. A few goals pre half time made it easier for Eckington.
Another very solid performance in defence by Scarlett. Second half was a mirror image of the first half with Eckington running out deserved winners.
Call outs this week for Erin VT who played in goal for the first half, only the second time she has donned the gloves. Liv for her debut for the team adding some real magic in the middle of the pitch. However GOTM went to Erin T
who played her first match partnering Scarlett in defence with them working brilliantly as a pair.
Another game and progress being made every week and all done with an amazing team spirit and smiles on their faces.
Well done girls
