Our Under 15's were without a league game this weekend so travelled to play Brunsmeer Boys in a 'friendly'.
Brunsmeer currently sit 4th in the A Division so we knew this would be a great test for our lads, despite missing a couple of players through injury.
We matched Brunsmeer for the full 80 minutes and were unlucky not to come away with at least a draw, having hit the woodwork and gone close on a few other occasions.
Final score Brunsmeer 1-0 AFC
All of the lads were outstanding today and never stopped for the whole game, with Liam
putting in an MOM display at the back

Coach Mark was proud of his sides performance despite the narrow defeat, "Immensely proud of all 14 of the lads today. Gave everything they had, and on another day we could have got something from the game. It just wasn't to be today. Their manager said afterwards that we probably deserved a draw. Full credit to Brunsmeer; a big strong, physical side who play some great football. It was pleasing to see our lads go toe to toe with them. We need to take this level of performance into our league games for the rest of the season".
Great effort lads
