Our Under 15's laboured to a 2-1 victory at home to struggling Brampton Rovers, who for much of the game were the better side. It’s hard to work out why they’re near the bottom of the division and they provided a stern test at Gosforth Fields this lunch time.

“A brilliantly taken goal by Lewis
saw us lead at the break 1-0.
Their goal coming in the last 20mins or so to make it 1-1, We had to dig deep and had a few chances which we wasted.
Thought it might be one of those days but up stepped Tess with a great strike and we hung on for the points to take us nicely into the Norton game next week”.

was deservedly awarded MOM for his usual all action display, and a special mention for Cole, who celebrated his birthday yesterday and played a pivotal role in the winning goal
